Seasoning

We collect almost nothing.

Nothing follows you. No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no social trackers, and no profile of you anywhere. We do not know who you are and we are not trying to find out.

Saved recipes never leave your device. The ones you heart are kept by your own browser. They are not sent to us, so clearing your browser clears them, and they will not appear on your phone.

The Sunday email. If you subscribe we hold your email address and nothing else. We never sell it, never pass it on, and one click unsubscribes you for good.

Writing to us. Email hello@seasoning.blog and we keep the message so we can reply to it. It is not added to any list.

Two things we cannot avoid. Our host keeps ordinary server logs, IP addresses included, as every website does. The typefaces load from Google, so Google sees your IP too.

Ask, and it is gone. Write to hello@seasoning.blog and we will tell you anything we hold about you and delete it. You do not need a reason.

Shopping links. Some pages link out to Amazon so you can see what a pan or a tin costs today. As an Amazon Associate, Seasoning earns from qualifying purchases: if you buy through one of these links, Amazon pays Seasoning a small commission, and you pay exactly the same. Nothing is recommended because it pays, and no recipe will ever be written around a product.

Cookies. We set none of our own beyond what WordPress needs to keep you signed in, and there is no advertising cookie on this site. Follow a shopping link and the shop at the other end sets its own, which is how a shop knows where a visit came from.

If we get it wrong. Seasoning is run from the United Kingdom and you can reach us at hello@seasoning.blog. If we do not put something right, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
